FAITH TESTED

The world reals and rolls with effects of its sin, the Bible says "The earth reels like a drunkard, it sways like a hut in the wind; so heavy upon it is the guilt of its rebellion that it falls-never to rise again" as fear arises more and more Christians who have never made Jesus their true Lord and Saviour will not be able to withstand the shaking and will fall under the sway of the evil one that is to come and accept his solution for the world's problems.

Look at the way the church is currently handling the Covid19 virus epidemic, they are all in fear and it has effected them mentally and spiritually, instead of rising up and becoming a beacon of light they have instead become paralysed with fear and unable to be what they were called to be.

Remember Shadrach, Mesach, and Abednego in the Bible? When their life were threatened yet they never lost their faith even it meant their death. Now we the church are threatened with death of this virus and sadly many churches have be come so worldly that they have lost their first love and are unwilling to trust Jesus with their life.

We have all the power given to us as believers in Christ to put to flight the powers of the enemy by pleading the blood of Jesus that is more potent then any virus under heaven, yet His Church has become Impotent and ineffective in being His witnesses.

We are are unable now to stand and be the salt, how will we be able to stand in the day of greater trials and tribulations that is soon coming to all believers alike no matter the denomination.

We need to exercise our faith now and prove our faith.

James 2:18 - "You have faith; I have deeds." Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds.

We risk being the foolish virgins with oil in their vessel.

Romans 12:2 - Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

We must at all cost even to our very soul believe the word of God that states that we are not of this world,

John 17:14 - "They are not of the world any more than I am of the world"

Do you believe this scripture?

1 Peter 2:9 - But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

If you do then you cannot be a partaker of this worlds believe system.

It is time to choose who you will serve.

Joshua 24:14-15 - “Now therefore, fear the Lord, serve Him in sincerity and in truth, and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River and in Egypt. Serve the Lord! And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

Deuteronomy 31:6 - Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD your God, he it is that does go with you; he will not fail you, nor forsake you.

We have a God that loves us and gave Himself for us with suffering, groaning, anguish and pain born for us that we may have at the power of heaven too overcome just as he did.

Will you trust him at this time? This is a question that only you can answer as you press into Him and seek Him to empower you with faith to become an overcome and be all that He has called you to be.

Colossians 3:3 - Remember when you became a Christian and surrender your life to Him "For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God"

Be blessed and be assured in Him.
