GOD'S ASSURANCE

These are trying and difficult times for many of us and may I say even unprecedented in the history of the world, we are all facing the brunt of the lockdown which has effected our livelihood and even threatens our future and we are in perplexity as to why this is happening to us.

Maybe we need to stop asking why? and start believing that we have a God who is in control even in this raging storm that we are in today which has effected us all in some way or form, some of us may be at the point of depression and anguish and this has effected our faith in the Lord deeply and we are unable pray or worship Him or even trust Him.

The Bible says in the book of Acts 14:22 strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying, "We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God."

May this scriptures below help you through this trying time and may they strengthen you in your faith as it has done for me and continue to do for me in my life through the many trials and tribulations in my life.

Psalm 3:3 - You O Lord, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head.

Psalm 9:9-10 - The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed. A refuge in times of trouble. And those who know Your name will put their trust in You. For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.

Psalm 16:5-6 - O Lord, You are the portion of my inheritance and my cup:You maintain my lot. The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places: Yes, I have a good inheritance.

Psalm 18:36 - You enlarge my path under me, So my feet did not slip.

Psalm 20:7-8 - Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God.They have bowed down and fallen; But we have risen and stand upright.

Psalm 30:5 - weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.

Psalm 31:19 - Oh, how great is your goodness, Which you have laid up for those who fear you. Which You have prepared for those who trust in You.

Psalm 31:23 - For the Lord preserves the faithful.

Psalm 32:10 - He who trusts in the Lord, mercy shall surround him.

Psalm 33:18 - Behold the eyes of the Lord is on those who fear Him.

Psalm 34:7 - The Angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them.

Psalm 34:9-10 - There is no want to those who fear Him. Those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.

Psalm 34:15 - The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their cry.

Psalm 34:19 - Many are the affliction of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all.

Psalm 34:22 - Non of those who trust in Him shall be condemned.

Psalm 35:27 - Let the Lord be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.

Psalm 36:5-6 - Your mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens; Your faithfulness reached to the clouds. Your righteousness is like the great mountains;Your judgements are a great deep.

Psalm 37:4-5 - Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.

Psalm 37:18 - The Lord knows the days of the upright, And their inheritance shall be forever. They shall not be ashamed in the evil time, And in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.

Psalm 37:23 - The steps of a good man (all believers) are ordered by the Lord.

Psalm 37:25 - I have not seen the righteous forsaken? Nor his descendants begging bread.

Psalm 40:1-2 - I waited patiently for the Lord; And He inclined to me, And heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, Out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock, And established my steps.

Psalm 40:4 - Blessed is the man who makes the Lord his trust.

Psalm 46:1 - God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.

Psalm 50:15 - Call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.

Psalm 55:18 - He has redeemed my soul in peace from the battle that was against me.

Psalm 55:22 - cast your burden on the Lord, And He shall sustain you. He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.

Psalm 56:3 - Whenever I'm afraid, I will trust in the Lord.

Isaiah 35:4 - Say to those with fearful hearts, "Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you."

Isaiah 41:10 - Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.'

Isaiah 43:2 - When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.

Isaiah 43:18-19 - "Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

Jeremiah 29:11 - For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Psalm 65:11 - You crown the year with Your goodness, And Your paths drip with abundance.

Brothers and Sisters meditate on this scriptures everyday as the Bible states in Joshua 1:8 Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

The Bible also states in Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Our God is a covenant keeping God and He is able to keep you and preserve you in this precarious times.
