TIMES OF TROUBLE

Updated: Jan 28, 2022

What we are witnessing today with the Corona Virus is only the beginning of the signs of our Lord's return, although we are in the last days, we are still in the early stage of the Lord's return as stated by our Lord in:

Matthew 24: 4-14 - “You will hear of wars and rumours of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

The Lord says in

Acts 14:22 - “We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God.”

However He also says we should not worry in:

John 16:33 - "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

Soon we will be entering into a time of tribulation; hence we should not at any cost take things for granted and live life as we use to as in previous years but instead use this year 2020 as a year of preparation for the coming tribulation on the Church.

By reading and studying the bible daily, praying in the spirit and fellowshipping with spirit filled believers we will be increasing our faith level in preparation for the difficult times ahead when I believe the bible will be banned due to its noncompliance with the world agenda of inclusiveness. When the Bible is no longer regarded as holy and acceptable there will be a famine of the Word of God that will lead many astray to believe false prophets and doctrines of demons that will lead many in the world including Christians into the arms of the anti-Christ and the beast system of governance.

If we fail to prepare for this coming difficult times of tribulation, we may fall into the trap of deception and take the mark of the beast in order to live a compromising lifestyle that gratifies our flesh.

Galatians 6:8 - "Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life".

Brothers and Sisters, we are on a discipleship program in this earth, we have enrolled in a course on becoming sons and daughters of the Most High God and we have been adopted into the family of God through Jesus Christ our High Priest, hence are now in the last leg of our course before we graduate. This will be the most difficult and challenging leg of our course here on earth.

Our Lord said in:

John 15:20 - "A servant is not greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obey my teaching, they will obey yours also".

Hebrews 5:8 - "Even though Jesus was God’s Son, he learned obedience from the things he suffered".

Likewise we who wish to be His disciples and walk in His footsteps must traverse this path, however because He had overcome we have the Grace made available to us through Jesus Christ to become overcomers as well.

Psalm 118:6 - "The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to Me?"

Deuteronomy 31:6 - the word says "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Our assurance is in the Holy Word of God and our Lord Jesus Christ who said:

Luke 10:19 - "Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you."

Do not fear the dark times but rejoice as the bible says:

Luke 21:28 - "When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near."

Although we have power over the enemy/devil/Satan/demons the bible says in:

Luke 10:20 - "Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are recorded in heaven."

The bible says of you:

Romans 8:37 - "Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us." So know that you are not alone and that the host of heaven is fighting on your behalf.

2 Kings 6:16 - “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”

We have already been given the victory by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and all we have to do is accept it by laying down our lives for Him by simply surrendering our will so His will be done in us and only then will we be able to do greater works that He promised in:

John 4:12 - “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father."

You were created for this time and you have been prepared for His Glory to be shown through you.

1 Peter 2:9 - "you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light"

Isaiah 60:1 - Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.

Be blessed and encouraged and do not doubt for He loves you eternally.
